What a great day the whole village had.
We beat the weather and had over 250 of the community on the street celebrating the 70 years of our Queen`s reign.

Lots and lots of help to set up over two days including local business with vans and trucks.

People turned up in force over 2 days to lend a hand to get everything organized for our great day.

We had Gazebo's offered to us from around the local area in case of bad weather
from all different sources but thankfully they were not needed.

We closed the road from noon – 6pm on Sunday 5th June and then it all happened with masses of
the local community coming along to the village hall to lend a hand. What a team.

The catering each individual party produced was fascinating and very yummy.

We even had our very own Queen and escort to parade down the whole street.

Entertainers fascinated the revellers with magic, juggling, face painting, balloon modelling and music etc.

We felt we did as the Queen wanted communities all over the country to do and that was
to get together, form new friends, enjoy our village and celebrate a grand occasion.
